Here is our beautiful and very soft blanket in pink, which consists of 30% baby alpaca and 70% wool.
Alpaca wool has excellent properties: it is temperature-regulating, dirt-repellent, anti-allergenic and odour-repellent. It is also non-scratchy and hardly felts. The term baby alpaca wool explains the first shearing of an adult alpaca.
An extremely soft wool is obtained from this first shearing and the blankets are woven by hand with this wool. The blanket has a width of approx. 140 cm and a length of approx. 170 cm. It also weighs around 620 g. As this is not an industrially manufactured product, there may be slight size deviations of +/- 2 cm.
